An iWin Joe Jonas 5K Fun Run will be held Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 beginning at 8:15 a.m. at Sunset Station in San Antonio, TX to support Special Olympics Texas and the Jonas Brothers’ Change for the Children Foundation. Joe Jonas of the Grammy-nominated artists, “The Jonas Brothers,” will lead the run.
The entry fee is $20 per person or $35 for a child and parent. Participants can register up until the run begins.
To help with the fund-raising, visit the Special Olympics Texas Web site at www.sotx.org. Top fund-raisers will win an award, and Special Olympics Texas athletes can enter a contest to win free tickets to the “Jonas Brothers” concert.
Fifteen participants in the fun run will be randomly selected to run with Jonas at the front of the race. The 15 winners will also be part of a special “meet-and-greet” where they can have their photo taken with Jonas. All participants will receive an iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run finisher medal made exclusively for this event.
